Consumer Freedom for Wireless Phones

Frustrations about long and expensive wireless contracts have now reached Congress. Representatives called for a more open wireless system during a recent hearing of the House Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet. They especially noted that all the restrictions networks impose, extensively confusing contracts that trap consumers, and even limit the innovation in the industry.

Fight for your right as a consumer with a prepaid wireless phone. Current regulations put contracts in control of the consumer and not the other way around. TracFone is fighting to improve your life by freeing you from expensive and constricting contracts, typically costing customers at least $1,000 over a two year agreement. With a TracFone there are no monthly bills, no early terminations fees, no contracts, and no credit checks. TracFone really does put you in charge, because with prepaid you have ultimate freedom to decide the minutes and features you need for however long you need them.
