Lifeline Value Plan

TracFone value plans are a great way to get the most value for your money. We have mentioned in previous posts how TracFone can help you stay safe, and the Lifeline Value Plan now makes it even easier to always be connected to loved ones and important emergency services.

The Lifeline Value Plan has multiple benefits for different kinds of needs. Ever forget to add more minutes before reaching your service end date, or have plenty of minutes that you don’t use often? The Lifeline Value Plan adds 30 days of service automatically and you are only charged $4.95 per month when you need it. It ensures that the minutes you do have don't expire because you have not used them before your service end date, and that your service is not interrupted if you forget to add more minutes. The plan also allows exclusive access to 50 and 100 minute bundles for your convenience. You don't have to worry about being out of touch again, and can feel secure that you will be able to use your TracFone when you need it most.

I have had the Lifeline value plan for 3 years and my account says it expires (?) on Dec.13,2009. Is Tracfone no longer having this important service? And, if not, why???

Don't panic. I just spent half an hour on hold, to verify this issue. As of 2/10/10, the facts are as follows: If you already had the Lifeline plan in effect, at the time they discontinued it, it will continue in force, and you will be billed only the original cost of this plan (for me, that's $4.95) It will show up in your account page, under general information (click details) as registered for LifeLine. However, it will NOT show up under value plans in your account, because that exact plan is not a current option.
